Tooting & Mitcham United v Molesey
Tuesday, 22nd November 2016
Ryman South
8 v 2 (2 v 2)
Entertaining match in front of a small crowd. Decent modern non-league ground.
The ground is just off the main road and has its own car park. Free on-street parking nearby. The ground is on bus routes, near a tram stop and railway station.
There is flat standing down one side of the pitch. Good concrete terraces behind both goals, with a roof over part of each end.
We sat in the main stand, which has good seats, no pillars, so good views.
£10 entry means unreserved entry, so we could sit or stand where we wanted and chose the halfway line, meaning a good view of an entertaining game.
There were enough toilets.
A programme for £2 and a simple fan shop on a table by the turnstile.
One food outlet by the entrance that seems to have a good range, but we did not try it.
A few stewards and no police. No trouble, so not involved with the crowd.
Small crowd and no Molesey supporters evident.
Despite the 8-2 home win and they created many other chances, the home supporters near us were not too happy. Not sure what they wanted?
