"Sell out game in a decent small ground."

Typical German football; good football, good crowd, good food and reasonably priced. But the ground was too small for this match.

Location

Ground to the north of the city centre, just off the motorway, on the edge of fields We arrived early and were directed into a free car park. Arrive late and parking looked crazy.

View

Restricted view on the packed terrace, as they put there banners on the fence and so the bottom half of the terrace cannot be used.
Stands looked fine.

Facilities

Sufficient toilets. Good fan shop on our side of the ground.
No programme.
Ticket kiosk by the entrance, with about four windows. Huge queues, that were calm and good humoured. No pushing. Cheap tickets for the terrace, as the stands were sold-out.

Food & Drink

Many stalls within the ground, seemed very popular and sold a lot of beer on a hot day. Good prices and good food; bratwurst were excellent.

Police & Stewards

Typical German game with a large Police presence who leave the stewards to deal with the fans. Stewards fine.

Atmosphere

Typical German game with a lively ultras and a good atmosphere. Lots of vocal away fans, so a loud ground. No problems.
