"Good German ground, a little old-style"

has rated Grotenburg-Stadion 4.0 out of 5.

andy-s' review of Grotenburg-Stadion

KFC Uerdingen 05 vs 1. FC Koln II - Saturday, 29th July 2017 - Regionlliga West
Typical German football; good football, good crowd, good food and reasonably priced.

Location

Outside the city centre, to the east, close to the zoo. Free car parks, plenty of on-street parking. Easy to find and on bus routes.

View

We sat in the main stand, simple plastic seating, with clear views.

Facilities

Sufficient toilets. Good fan shop on our side of the ground.
Programme cost only fifty cents, full colour and a good programme.
Ultras were selling their magazine.
Single ticket kiosk by the entrance. Cheap tickets.

Food & Drink

Stalls within the ground, seemed popular and sold a lot of beer on a hot day. Good prices and good food; bratwurst and currywurst were excellent.

Police & Stewards

Typical German game with a large Police presence who leave the stewards to deal with the fans. Stewards fine.

Atmosphere

Typical German game with a lively ultras and a good atmosphere. Not many away fans. No problems.
