"Good ground, with poor access"

Alkmaar Zaanstreek (AZ) vs VVV Venlo - Eredivisie - Saturday, 10th February 2018
Good ground, but access is an issue.
Box office never replied to e-mails about tickets.

Location

The ground is surrounded by motorways and sliproads.
Car park access from the road.
Some free on-street parking on the city side of the ground.
Massive bike park, must take 2,000 bikes.
Unfortunately, all foot and bike access is via one subway. Very crowded after the game.

Clean seats and clear sightlines.

Facilities

Large fanshop and free museum on the outside of the ground. We bought our tickets there.
Toilets fine.

Food & Drink

Tea and coffee were good.

Police & Stewards

We spoke to a couple of stewards before the game, friendly and excellent English.

Atmosphere

The crowd became frustrated at the slow passing approach of AZ, particularly at the end of the 0-0.
No trouble.
