Nijmegen Eendtracht Combinalie (NEC) v SC Heerenveen - Saturday, 20th August 2016 - Eredivisie
A nice little ground, not that new, but well organised.
The ground is in a park on the outside of town. We parked 200 yards from the ground, where there was plenty of free on-street parking. Easy to find and close to major roads. As usual in The Netherlands thousands of fans came by bike, so the ground is surrounded by parked bikes. You can walk all around the ground, but there are few bars, etc. in the local area.
Clear and unobstructed view. The stands are built up, so the sightlines are good. As it is a small ground, you are close to the action.
Box office staff helpful. Decent club shop.
Enough toilets, which were clean.
You buy tokens from machines, so it makes it easier and quicker to buy anything. Nice coffee.
No police inside the ground and the stewards had little to do.
Reasonable atmosphere, helped by a 2-1 score line. No trouble and a well behaved crowd.
