Dover Athletic v Torquay United - National League - Saturday, 26th March 2016
Entertaining game, lively atmosphere! Five nil home win.
We arrived a little later than planned, so had to park ten minutes from the ground, free on street parking available. The ground is at the foot of a hill, so access and parking only on one side. There was parking at the rugby ground next door. On a bus route.
We stood behind one goal, but the roof has dozens of pillars, so not the best view.
There were small toilets in the corner, but not enough.
Small club shop, with limited range.
Programme sold out.
There was a food outlet, that was constantly busy.
A few Police outside the ground. There was a bit of unnecessary and dodgy banter between the fans, quiet childish at times, mildly racial at times. The stewards did nothing.
We stood with mostly Torquay supporters in the first half. The banter was funny at first, then not pleasant and completely unnecessary. The Torquay fans went to the other end in the second half and we stood with the Dover supporters only in the second half, so no issues.
