This is an interesting place to come and watch football as there is only one stand from where you can watch the game. There is however a running track around the pitch and so you are sat quite far away. It also means the game stops a lot whilst the ball is retrieved from far away.
Despite being a very open, and fairly cold ground, the stand does produce quite a good atmosphere if there are enough fans in there making some noise.
For a local ground a few minutes walk from me I enjoyed going to watch a game in this comfortable little stand.
It's about 10 minutes from Mile End tube. I came from a different direction though following Google Maps and it took me straight past the entrance without me realising.
The view is o.k. in the main stand though because of the running track going around the pitch it does mean you are sat quite a way away. The seats are just rows of benches but they're quite comfortable and plenty of leg room.
Apart for the stand we were sat in the stadium is very open and it did get very cold on what was a reasonably mild day.
Didn't use them so not sure. They were probably quite decent as there were facilities in the leisure complex underneath the stand.
There wasn't anything other than vending machines. I did see someone come up with a brew but I couldn't see from where.
There was no police or steward but people were helpful in the reception.
Surprisingly good. The game I saw was Sporting Bengal United vs Clapton FC who are probably one of the best supported teams in the Essex Senior division. There were probably about 70-80 people but they made a lot of noise and the stand we were in contained it quite well and made it seem lively. When the fire crackers where throw on to the running track it made an almighty bang that reverberated around the ground.
