"not a great view but decent atmosphere"

has rated The Valley 3.0 out of 5.

adzrowe's review of The Valley

the valley is a lovely ground but not seeing the net and only the top of the goal isnt great

Location

fantastic easy to get to served by trains from london bridge. charlton station is a 5 min walk at most from the ground. not bad coming back either.

View

awful leg room. awful view had to guess whether my team had scored or not when shot looked like going in.

Facilities

not a spacious concourse just a van as you go in.

Food & Drink

not great variety best trying to get food from the chippie by the ground before the game

Police & Stewards

really long searches block the view at times. relaxed about standing though.

Atmosphere

acoustics are fantastic away fans can really make a noise. home fans are average. quite load when they scored
