Octopus has rated Shielfield Park 3.5 out of 5.
Shielfield Park up until several years ago held the distinction of been the only ground in England playing in the Scottish League system. Berwick Rangers now play in the Highland League.
Parking was ample, mainly on a large scale field. The game I attended had over 900 people, far more than the average fixture and parking was no issue.
The speedway track isn't as intrusive as you'd think, I stood in the terraced area called the ducket and had a decent view of the game.
The club shop is one of the best I've ever seen, full of old programmes, new and retro kits, scarves, hats, etc. It's a shame it isn't bigger!
Nice food from what I remember.
None.
Very mixed atmosphere when I went. It was the final game in League Two before relegation to the Lowland League. Fans wanted to spur the team on but it honestly looked like all the players gave up.
