BMH has rated Wincham Park 4.5 out of 5.
Great ground. Good facilities. Really impressed.
The ground is owned by Witton Albion and NV are the tenants, an agreement which appears to work well for both teams.
A little bit on the 'edge of town' - a 20 minute walk from Railway station, with connections to Manchester & Chester. Straightforward car access.
Can't fault any position in the ground.Covered standing terraces at both end behind the goal and a similar stand alongside the pitch opposite where teams come out of changing rooms. The seated terrace (changing rooms) runs for the full length of one side of the ground.
Social club bar & food area.
Club shop inside the ground and 2 food kiosks in corners of the ground opposite each other. The one I attended offered decent pies/pasties/chips etc for £2 and a wide range of hot and cold drinks. Hence the long queues at HT.
See above in facilities.
Stewards were a friendly bunch.
290 in attendance, and its surprising that with just a few supporters under one of the covered terraces, a decent little bit of atmosphere was created.
