"28/12/22 AVRO FC v FCIOM 0-1"

NWCFL Premier - 3rd placed Avro miss chance to go top as ultimately FCIOM probably edged it. Very wet at times and very windy, but a decent ground with plenty of cover and decent views. Outstanding food bar (Macy's) and decent bar, maybe a little surprised they don't get more than 394 from what appears a large catchment area.

Location

Pink Line tram from Manchester Victoria to Hollinwood. Then a 15 minute walk to ground.
Plenty of space for car parking & I was told that there is a bus (76 I think from Manc) which drops off near the ground but takes longer than tram.

One complete end covered, which has the dressing rooms, bars, and Macy's in it.
Covered seating along half of one side, with covered standing on the opposite side.
Decent views all round

Facilities

Good small bar inside the ground, the bigger 'better' one just outside.
Absolutely outstanding food outlet Macy's, just inside the ground.
Fresh cooked, variety of food and cheap as well.
Some clubs much higher up the pyramid should visit and take note.

Bit of a 'kop' thing going on in the covered end behind one goal.
