BMH has rated Townfield 3.0 out of 5.
Most striking for me was how the pitch sloped upwards from the half way line to the entrance / clubhouse / changing rooms area.
Tidy small ground with stand and two sides, manned by very welcoming club officials.
Result was a 6-1 win for FC Isle of Man.
Took less than two hours in the car from Heysham. Reasonably easy to find once in Barton.
Unimpeded view from all four sides.
Very good. Great set of volunteers manning the turnstile / clubhouse.
Decent programme, and new lapel/pin badge.
Food and drink very good and very reasonably priced.
It does help as an away supporter seeing your team win 6-1.
