BMH has rated Silkmore Lane 3.5 out of 5.
It was a bitterly cold and very windy day, which didn't help the game, which was fast and furious and a bit of a scrap.
Weather aside - had a great day out here.
£5 to get in + decent programme for £1. Badge for £3 bought from the small 'shop' / cafe by the clubhouse.
What made this a good visit, was the Brockton staff (and supporters) - starting at the main gates / turnstile, the ladies in the shop and the staff in the clubhouse. A real credit to the club.
Probably could have walked from the station to the ground, but due to the weather decided to jump in a taxi. Cost £5.70 which took approx 15 mins.
Unobstructed view from all four sides of the ground.
There are two smallish but modern stands along one side of the ground. One is entirely seated, the other standing, and was certainly glad of that to get out of the weather.
A smallish but very modern clubhouse with bar. The clubhouse was opened by Ron Flowers (Wolves legend) and squad member of the 66 World Cup Winners.
Next to the clubhouse was a smallish 'shop' which had hot & cold drinks (£1 each) and various snacks.
Soup for me, which was spot on.

Overall a good atmosphere as the majority of supporters stood in the stand to get out of the weather, which created a 'buzz'.
