BMH has rated Shawbridge 3.5 out of 5.
FCIOM game called off at Colne, so this was nearest ground still on. Overall enjoyed the visit, neat and tidy ground with decent facilities. Amazing slope from one side (rather than lengthways) to the other. 3rd v 5th before the game saw Leek in total control throughout, although a saved penalty by Clitheroe goalie only delayed the inevitable, scoring 4 unanswered with a consolation conceeded late on.
Easy to drive to & parked for free nearby.
Very good on all four covered sides. One main seated stand was very full due to the weather, but standing on all 3 other sides gave good views.
All 4 sides were covered, importantly as the rain was torrential. A bar in each stand and the food area was serving stuff that was top notch with a wide variety of choice.
Very good at very reasonable prices.
Soem daft teeenagers were creating a bit, which seems to be a thing these days at all grounds. Thankfully the stewards lobbed them out.
Decent home support along one side of the ground with a smaller number of Leek fans behind a goal.
