BMH has rated Neuven Stadium 4.0 out of 5.
Had planned to watch FCIOM at Longridge, but a damaged floodlight put paid to that! So Bury it was at their landlords (Radcliffe Borough) home ground.
Bury pushing for promotion might have been expected to 'roll over' bottom of the table Ashton, but a cumulation of number of games, injured players, bobbly sanded pitch in places and some new looking players (that didn't play v FCIOM a couple of weeks ago) saw AA take the lead, with Bury eventually getting an equaliser to salvage a point.
Tram from Manchester Victoria to Radcliffe, maybe 20 mins. Then a 15/20 min walk to the ground.
Good views from all sides.
Covered stands on three sides.
One stand behind a goal next to changing rooms is completely seated and good views from it.
Very good all round.
Manned by Bury stewards and apparently some from Radcliffe.
Programme sellers, merchandise sellers, bar, food stall - all busy and all very hospitable.
Very good.
The food outlet served a wide range of reasonably priced decent stuff.
Similarly the bar had a good range of reasonably priced beers ( £4 per pint for Worthys Creamflow) and between the 2 a covered area with seating.
Top notch stewards.
1167 in the ground.
The 'kop' in the covered stand (non seated) behind the goal were constantly urging Bury on, and included several songs about the forthcoming visit to the IoM.
