BMH has rated Brocstedes Park 3.0 out of 5.
Been a tough season for Ashton, nevertheless the welcome from the officials and supporters was a warm one.
Caught the train to Bryn station and it was then a 20 minute walk to the ground, which is on the outskirts of Bryn.
Not trying to be sniffy, but the ground is basic which you'd probably expect at this level. If you go to grounds expecting something along the lines of Wembley etc, you're in the wrong league.
Utterly friendly and welcoming volunteers/supporters - what more can you ask for?
Had a 20 minute walk to the ground from Bryn station.
The ground is on the outskirts of Bryn in a countryside location hemmed in on one side by the M6.
Excellent views of the pitch from all 4 sides.
Along one side by the club house is a covered seated stand with unimpeded views.
The clubhouse was just spot on. Warm, modern - ish with well appointed bar.
The vice chairman doubled up as barman, and was the perfect host.
Excellent. Wide range of homemade style food hot and cold and all at very reasonable prices. Very good.
Not being negative, but there wasn't really an 'atmosphere' more good natured banter and chat between supporters.
