ArjayAFCT has rated Grigg Lane 3.5 out of 5.
Grigg Lane is everything you could ever want and expect from a non-league ground. It's compact and a bit rough and tatty around the edges, but it's got character. The grandstand is a great place to watch the game from and there is hard standing around the rest of the pitch.
The ground it situated right in the centre of the village. The village is easily accessible by road and rail. There is not much parking space near the ground but Brockenhurst train station is just a short walk away and is served by trains from London Waterloo to Bournemouth.
The view from the grandstand is superb, and as long as you don't stand right next to the brick-built dugouts, you can see all four corners of the pitch from the hard standing around the edge of the playing field.
There are two turnstiles allowing entrance to the ground – one in Grigg Lane itself and the other in Fathersfield on the opposite side of the stadium. On match days a small tea bar and a snack bar operate. There is a clubhouse with snooker and pool tables, dartboards, table football and Sky TV. There is also an extensive bar and a heated outdoor patio/BBQ area fills in the gap between the clubhouse and the main grandstand.
The usual matchday fare. Burgers, pies, hot and cold drinks, crisps etc, and the bar is well stocked.
