Been to many non-league matches growing up but honestly can't remember my first.
My first game involving Football League clubs was Sunderland 2-0 Brighton in October 2004.
Sunderland 4-0 West Bromwich Albion in December 2008. A week after Roy Keane departed, the squad seemed absolutely drained and was up to caretaker Ricky Sbragia to pick up the pieces and duly delivered in this convincing victory. 2 goals in 2 minutes from Kenwyne Jones and a header from Andy Reid had us 3-0 up at half time and a Djibril Cisse penalty in the 2nd half rounded off a superb victory in what was largely forgettable season.
A complete reverse of my favourite game, West Bromwich Albion 4-0 Sunderland in February 2012. An early goal for them and they never looked back, terrible performance from us and probably has put me off going to The Hawthorns in the future..
Excellent facilities & great views of the pitch. You'd probably expect that though considering it's pretty new.
Atmosphere aside, Fratton Park is just a run down hellhole.
