Watford v Liverpool, FA Cup quarter final, Saturday, 21st February, 1970. A single goal by Barry Endean was enough to put Watford into their first ever semi final
Watford v Walsall, Div.3 Tuesday, 29th April, 1975. Watford had to win to escape relegation to Div.4 but lost 3-2, a bad day!
the atmosphere was electric when I visited many years ago for an FA Cup 3rd round replay against Watford.
it was just a real dump with old railway sleepers for terracing
