A new football stadium is to be built in Saskatoon, Canada.
The new stadium will be located in the Prairieland Park area in the south of the city and will be home to a new Canadian Premier League side, after rights were awarded last year.
It will also be home to other local football teams as well as cricket, rugby and concerts.
It is hoped that the new ground will be opened in 2024, with funding due to be secured this year. The total cost of the project is estimated at around £18m.

Kansas City Current have unveiled plans for the women's soccer stadium in the NWSL.
The 11,000 seater stadium would be built on land adjacent to the Missouri River at the east end of Berkley Riverfront Park. The location is central to the city - much nearer than MLS West's Sporting KC whose Children's Mercy Park stadium is some 15 miles away from the city centre.
The new stadium for KC Current could be open as soon as 2024 at an estimated cost of $120m.

Harrogate Town has announced plans to build a new stand at Wetherby Road.
The Yorkshire side currently have the smallest capacity stadium in League 2, with a capacity of 5,000.
No capacity details have been confirmed yet, and no designs have been made available, although it is believed that the club is investing £3.5m in the project. The stand will include normal seating as well as a corporate area.

Organisers of Euro 2024 have confirmed the schedule for UEFA's flagship tournament.
The 2024 edition will take place in 10 coyotes across Germany in June and July 2024. The historic Olympiastadion in Berlin will host the final. The stadium is home to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin and was the venue for the 2006 World Cup final.
The first game in the competition will take place at Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena on June 14. Another 8 stadiums will be used during the tournament. See below for a full list of stadiums:

Villarreal have released a video and more pictures of the upcoming changes to their El Madrigal stadium.
The Spanish La Liga side will construct a new stand to fully enclose the playing field. They will also make a number of dramatic visual improvements to the outside of the stadium, to make it look more modern.
All of the seats in the stadium will be replaced and will all now be covered from the elements. Two giant 21m x 7m video scoreboards will also be installed.
Work started as soon as the Spanish season finished in May. The work is due to be completed by the time the football re-starts after the World Cup in Qatar. In order to complete within this ambitious timescale, Villarreal will have to play the first half of next season's home games at Levante's Ciudad de Valencia, some 40 miles away.
The club will spend €35m on the work. However capacity will remain at the current 22,000.

Nashville SC has opened its new stadium, Geodis Park.
The MLS Western Conference side has moved into the new 30,000 capacity stadium, which is the largest soccer-specific stadium in the US.
Nashville joined the MLS in 2020, playing their first two seasons at Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans American football team.
The new stadium, named Geodis Park, cost around £270m to build and will also host non-sporting events including concerts.
A capacity crowd of 30,109 saw Nashville draw 1-1 with Philadelphia Union in the grounds first match.
Nashville will now play 6 of their next 8 matches at home, after playing all of their first 8 games of the season away.

Barcelona are set to play the 2023/2024 season at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys as renovation work at the Camp Nou steps up.
The La Liga giants have announced the move as part of the plans to modernise the Camp Nou and increase its capacity of 105,000 - further cementing its place as the largest stadium in Europe.
Work is due to start next season, with changes being made to the first and second tiers. The stadium will remain at full capacity whilst the work is carried out. Barca will then move into the Lluis Companys as construction moves to the third tier. The club then intend to return to the Nou Camp for the 2024/2025 season, with the capacity cut by around 50%.
Work should be completed during the 2025/2026 season, with the capacity increased to 105,000.
The Lluis Companys is a 60,000 seater capacity stadium, which was first built for the 1992 Olympics. It is located around 2 miles away from the Nou Camp.

Clyde are to groundshare with Hamilton Academical next season.
The Scottish League One side had another year left on the lease at Broadwood Stadium and were looking to move to a new home at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
The club will now groundshare at Hamilton's New Douglas Park, some 15 miles away.
Clyde had been looking at their stadium options. The search for a new permanent home will now be stepped up.
The club had played at Broadwood since 1994. Their last match at the stadium was a 5-0 defeat to Airdrieonians.

Eintracht Frankfurt have announced plans to increase the capacity of Waldstadion to 60,000.
The Bundesliga club will add an additional 11,000 safe standing spaces after getting agreement from the local council.
The stadium was originally opened in 1925 and until recently was known as the Commerzbank Arena. It has hosted numerous international matches including World Cups in 1974 and 2006, Euro 88 and the 2011 Women's World Cup.
From 2023, the stadium will also be used to host NFL matches as American football heads back to Germany.
Work on the stadium will begin in the autumn.

Polish side LKS Lodz have opened the revamped Stadion Miejski.
The Liga I side has spent the last few years transforming their home ground from a 5,700 capacity single stand to an 18,000 seater arena.
The rebuilt stadium includes a museum and club shop as well as restaurants, retail spaces and a banquet hall.
Lodz is the 3rd largest city in Poland with a population of almost 700,000. It is located to the west of Warsaw, around an hour and a half's drive away.
The project cost around £23m and was opened with a 1-0 defeat to Chrobry Glogow.

French side Stade Brestois have revealed plans for a new 15,000 seater stadium.
The Ligue 1 side have shown off a rather striking design which can be seen in the video below.
The new stadium would cost around £70m and would replace the club's current Stade Francis Le Ble, which first opened in 1922.
The new venue would include 6 wind turbines and a new club shop, as well as activities aimed to increase non-match day revenue, with an esports arena, tree climbing activities and a zip line also planned.
Any new stadium is quite a way off though - consultation on the plans could last up to 2 years, with building work potentially starting in 2024. If it does, the club could expect to move into their home in 2026.

FC Barcelona have set a new record attendance for a women's football match.
The new record crowd of 91,533 was set for Barcelona's women's Champions League tie against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
The attendance was more than 5,000 higher than the 86,000 who watched the last men's El Clasico. It narrowly beat the previous world record of 90,185 which was set in the 1999 women's World Cup final when USA hosted China at the Rose Bowl in LA.
The attendance comes as England prepares to host the women's Euros this summer, with several matches already sold out. Tickets start from just £10 and can be purchased from the UEFA website.
