Egyptian side Al Ahly has revealed plans for a new 42,000 seater stadium close to Sphinx International Airport. The ground will be expandable up to a capacity of 57,000 when hosting concerts.

The new stadium is due to open in 2029 and will form part of a new sports city which will also include a university, hospital and mosque.
