League One side Bristol Rovers have been granted planning permission to build a new South Stand at Memorial Stadium.

The club had planned to build the stand in time for the start of the 2023/24 season, but council delays and concerns from local residents saw the stand closed to fans instead.

The new 3,000 capacity stand will help to modernise the stadium with the club no longer looking to build a new ground.
