Louisville City have opened their new Lynn Family Stadium with a 3-1 defeat to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
A socially distanced crowd of 4,850 were in attendance as the club were given the go ahead to sell up to 50% of the 11,600 capacity as long as strict checks and social distancing was adhered to.
Construction of the new $65m stadium was completed back in March. City currently ply their trade in the USL Championship Eastern Conference - the second level of football in North America after the MLS.
The ground will also be used for concerts and local events and will serve as the home to the club's U23 and newly-formed women's team.
