Portsmouth 2-2 AC Milan, just the most fantastic night at Fratton Park.
Worst Game
Portsmouth 0-5 Chelsea. It was a long night, the referee (and I hate blaming referees) was awful, and a Pompey fan died in the North stand, bad night overall.
A testament to great architecture. The march to the arch is something you never forget, and the moment you walk through the tunnel to the inside of the stadium itself, you're hit by how big and how incredible it is. Everyone needs to go there, and more than once.
Hidden in the grubby streets of Sheffield, you arrive at what appears to be a nice enough stadium; but you are greeted by stewards and police officers who were born to hate. Their level of co-operation is shocking. Upon entering the stadium, you have to squeeze through the turnstiles like Indiana Jones, pay far too much for something barely edible, and then to cap it off, I'm convinced that the chairs contained asbestos. I've never had the same view of Sheffield since my trip there on a Monday night in October.
