Ironically Man Utd vs Fulham 02/03 I think? Ruud van Nistelrooy's debut, was only nine didn't even like football then! First Cardiff City game was a friendly vs Charlton - Scott Young testimonial.
Cardiff vs Liverpool - League cup final probably, so much drama and emotion I was physically drained at the end of the game! Other classics include Cardiff 2-1 Swansea, Cardiff play-off game vs Leicester, Cardiff 3-1 Burnley at Ninian Park, Man Utd 1-4 Liverpool was a cracker and most recently Wales 2-1 Scotland.
Its between two. 03/04 season 1-0 home loss to Coventry, Martyn Margetson got sent off and losing
1-0 to Barnsley at Oakwell on a typical shitty, dark, rainy night up in Yorkshire. Free-kick in the last minute pinged across the wet pitch striking Ross McCormack on the arse and straight into the net. These two games can only be described with two of the most appropriate words - fucking shite.
Don't like QPR but love Loftus Road! Proper ground, close to the pitch, intimidating, surrounded by tower blocks and old school London houses. Can't beat a good old London trip especially QPR.
Nice on the eye outside and inside but just not for me, acoustics were bad and it was generally just a weird, surreal experience. It didn't seem like a football stadium, more like a super dome or something. Stadium for cinema goers in my opinion, dislike new stadiums so I wouldn't rush back that's for sure!
