Leeds vs Coventry, at Elland Road; a Premiership game back in 1994. Don't remember much about it tbh, but we won 1-0, and Rod Wallace got the goal.
Here's the goal: http://youtu.be/t67XIy4xTG0?t=1h5m35s
The game that secured promotion back to the Championship, or the FA Cup win at Old Trafford? Delighted to have been at both! Both packed with drama, and will live in the memory for a long time. Special mention also to the 2-2 draw at Spurs (last minute Beckford penalty) and the play-off semi-final at Deepdale.
Favourite non-Leeds game was Enfield vs Yeovil! late 90s Icis League promotion battle! Yeovil equalised on 90mins, Enfield snatched it back on about 95. Class!
Plenty of contenders. Matches after which I've felt particularly low are the 4-1 drubbing at Deepdale (2006) the capitulations vs Barnsley(5-2) and PNE at ER (4-1 up, lost 6-4) and the home thrashing by swindon (3-0 in League 1)
I think the worst may be losing to MK Dons in L1 tho. 7th straight defeat, and soundly outplayed. Gary Mac's last game in charge.
A few months later, a few more to add... Leeds 0-5 Blackpool; thanks Chubs.
And Leeds 3-7 Forest.
We get battered more often than average.
What can a Leeds fan say, except Elland Road?!
I've gotta say I enjoyed the League 1 tour; some proper individual grounds, with character about them. And terraces! Carlisle has some good memories.
Worst professional ground I've been to is probably Macclesfield, for a League Cup tie.
The kind of ground I hate tho, is the modern, mass-produced air-fix stadiums, where the only difference is the colour of the seats. Coventry, Leicester, Doncaster etc.
