As with most large modern stadia, Anfield has an abundance of facilities that can be used on non-match days. Ground tours are incredibly popular and provide a great source of revenue for the club. Likewise, Anfield's large function rooms can play to weddings, christenings, parties and even eSports. This relatively new sport sees players from opposing teams facing each other on video game consoles, usually on game such as FIFA, and can even wager through esports betting sites. Some of the biggest events can gather ~200,000 attendees.

The Coronavirus outbreak has forced Liverpool to delay their plans to expand the Anfield Road stand.
The Premier League leaders have previously planned to start construction work as soon as the planning application was granted, but have now delayed the project for "at least" 12 months.
The plans include completely rebuilding the Anfield Road end at a cost of £60m. It will add 7,000 more seats and take the total capacity of Anfield to more than 61,000.
The project is now expected to be completed in the summer of 2023.
Thursday 13th February 2020
Liverpool have revealed new images detailing their proposed rebuild of the Anfield Road stand.
The Premier League leaders are making the plans public before they formally apply for planning permission. The first stage of a public consultation last year saw a 93% positive response rate, with the club now looking to re-route Anfield Road around the stand after feedback from local residents and businesses.
If approved, the new £60m stand will increase Anfield's capacity to 61,000. It will provide an extra 1,800 corporate seats and 5,200 for general admission.
The club hopes to start building work in 2020, with a planned completion date in time for the start of the 2022/2023 season.
Saturday 30th November 2019
Liverpool have unveiled plans to increase the capacity of Anfield to 61,000.
The Premier League leaders and last season's Champions League winners plan to rebuild the Anfield Road Stand. This new 16,000-seater structure will add an extra 7,000 seats, making Anfield the 3rd largest stadium club stadium in England after Old Trafford and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It's the second time that the ground has been expanded in recent years, after the main stand was rebuilt in 2016.
The club are currently at the planning phase, but are expected to spend around £60m on the project.
