Wembley win 2012 for the JPT, best day ever.
Chesterfield v Luton
Saturday 8th May 2004
Chesterfield had to win to stay up in League 1, the game as I remember was a very drab game and looked like a 0-0 scoreline, but on the 88th minute Glynn Hurst provided me with the best moment of my life, only competing with the Wembley win 2012. A massive pitch invasion and my dad swinging me round capped off a fantastic moment, another pitch invasion came at full time, amazing.
Chesterfield FC v Crewe Alexandra FC
Saturday 2nd October 2010
Npower League 2
0-3 down after 13 minutes and 1-4 down at half time it was one of the worst halves of the season and me and my dad were seriously considering leaving at half time but we stuck it out. We got a goal back at 74 minutes hoping there was a chance of getting something from the game and then another at 79 from a penalty by Danny Whitaker but our hopes were dashed when Clayton Donaldson scored Crewe's 5th at 80 minutes. Everyone's hearts sunk and most of the supporters went home but we had 10 minutes left + additional time to try and redeem ourselves. 2 goals were needed and when Whitaker scored another penalty at 89 minutes the stadium came alive and all the fans got behind the players to get a final goal. Craig Clay was the man to give us all a result we will never forget striking the ball from just outside the box into the bottom left hand corner. Chesterfield went mental.
