First Game

Schalke v Bayern Munich, while on a school trip to Germany, 1984. Crumbling old stadium but a crowd of over 70,000 and a cracking atmosphere.

Has to be the Champions League final in Moscow - though it was so nearly the worst ...

Worst Game

erm ... that Manchester derby which we won't talk about ...

The sheer scale of the place is awe-inspiring and the atmosphere like a cauldron - would love to see El Clasico here. I tend to forget United parked the bus and got away with a 0-0.

Don't think this has changed since the 19th century. Facilities primitive and you could easily envisage a crush at the away end.
