First Game

Ipswich 0-2 Portsmouth, Portman Road, 26-Feb-11

Saw my first Ipswich game for my birthday in the SBR Upper stand which we lost. Great atmosphere, nice ground and eventually got me into supporting Ipswich. Lost 2-0 but enjoyed the game.

Best Game

I HAVE TWO:
Ipswich 5-1 West Ham, Portman Rd

Had a 'bet' with my friend at school pre-match that we'd beat West Ham. Seemed to be a tough game against a West Ham side in promotion form (eventually promoted that season). Great goals, fantastic atmosphere and glad I was invited. Still never got the money from that bet...

Maidstone 3-0 Sudbury, Apr 2014

Away for the Ryman League Cup final! Sudbury's first cup final in several years. We went down on the almost-full supporters coach. High crowd and good banter between the fans. Sudbury seemed unlucky and we were frustrated when our goal late on didn't count (at 2-0). Fans were very supportive of their sides, and an amazing ground.

Worst Game

Sudbury Reserves 0-10 Fakenham, Sept 2013

Was reporting for the Sudbury team that day. Went with my friend Dylan, and I recall we were in good form ahead of the fixture. One of the team's worst defeats in history, and I struggled to report on it, positively.

Planks of wood and metal lying around ground (which could not be seen for a night game), poor programme, very expensive admission fee.. lots of rubbish lying around, were unable to wait after match in ground and needed to wait in car park for coach
