I am so so sad to see many sides moveto new modern grounds and lose their identity to large plastic and steel corporate vacuums.
Old grounds for all their faults make a team and the ground is part of the club. Long live Craven Cottage and the like!
Other that Tonbridge in the nonleague, my first was Fulham Preston, May 1, 1971. Fulham lost 1-0 but what a fantstic day and it was love at first sight!
So many, can't think of one that stands out, but any away win is always special!
Liverpool 10 Fulham 0 and when Swansea sent us down by beating us 2-1 at the Vetch to put us in the bottom division for the first time in our history. That was a very low point.
Always a great atmosphere when we play here and so many good pubs near the ground.
Where do you start! We never seemed to do well there and the facilities were probably the worst for away fans I have ever seen.
