A 3-1 away win at Lincoln sticks in the mind. A stand full of Albion fans singing the dambusters theme and we even managed to silence their blooming air raid siren !
Brighton vs Liverpool at the Goldstone (RIP) Jan 1984. 2-0 victory, its been downhill ever since !
Hereford v Brighton at Edgar Street May 1997. 1-1 Albion stay in the league. 3,500 Albion in the ground, 1,000 outside. The feeling of pure joy and relief at the final whistle. Coach loads of Albion taking over every roadside pub for mile after mile on the way home. Every other car seemed to have a blue and white scarf hanging ou of the window and/or someone hanging out of the sun roof.
5-0 defeat away at Palace was painful, especially as I went out drinking with some Palace fans in Croydon after the game. Ive also never seen so many Police at a game in 25 years of following the Albion home and away. Why is it that all Police at football games are scum ? They cause so many more problems than they solve.
It's the bigest crowd I've been in for an Albion game, having missed our 3 games played at the old Wembley. The atmosphere 30,000 Albion fans made is something to behold
It'san embarassment, a non-league ground in the football league. We've been forced to stay there for far too long. Roll on Falmer
