Ultras, tifos, firms and all football fans of the world, when you visit to Japan, come see me at the Saitama stadium.
I'll get you a pint ;-)
Yamazaki Nabisco Cup (J League Cup) semi-final Urawa against Yomiuri (former club of Tokyo Verdy) @ the national stadium in 1992.
I was 12 & we lost.
AFC chanpions league semi-final @ Saitama stadium in 2007.
That was the toughest match I ever been.
Too hard to pick one cuz there're too many.
My "home sweet home" Saitama stadium is the best ground but I'm not allowed to pick it up so I would choose this one.
The reason is that Urawa's made a lot of histories down there.
Also when I was a lil' kid & the national team was a hero to me back in the day, I used to call this stadium "Holy Ground" like many of Japanese football fan do.
Nothing but a hopeless piece of shit cuz it's like a large garbage container.
Too damn far from the pitch because of the damn stadium track.
It ain't never be appropriate for football match.
I'd rather watch the match on TV down the pub.
I still can't accept that this stadium hosted World Cup 2002 final game.
Who cares if it'll be bombed?
