being a rovers fan is the definition of pleasure and pain-for a club our size, the trophies i've seen us win in my lifetime is something the like of which many of the so called bigger clubs can only envy.....the bad times are here now though-we're looking like relegation fodder and if they do fall out of the premier league i think it will probably be a while before we get back up again.........still,i'll be there thick or thin just like i've always been...(i must be mad !!!!!!)
blackburn rovers.v.queens park rangers.1969-ewood park
gotta'be the tiltle clincher-rovers.v.newcastle-8th May,1995.A 1-0 win-finger nails down to the bone-who else but super Alan shearer with the winner-he seemed to jump 10 foot in the air to get to that header.........
then again theres been many other good games too.......
these games are probably happening now-just been to stoke and witnessed one of the worst rovers performances i've ever seen-no fight,no commitment-no shots on target in 90 minutes-typical allardyce football i suppose...........
i always like going there-they lift the roof when they score......it'll be a shame when they leave goodison-i like anfield too, emirates is nice-(you can almost have a lie down in those seats !!!!!!!)-always liked Villa
i hate everything connected with old trafford-i've sat in the home end on 3 occasions watching Rovers and still have'nt heard a manc accent-its just designed for commercialism-nice orderly queues of chinese tourists outside the club shop-take out a 2nd mortgage for a half time pie-atmosphere like a morgue-more coaches for home supporters than visiting ones and theres no leg room in the bloody seat that are way too over priced..........mindu,the day we won there(which incidentally is the last time Morten Gamst Pedersen had a good game)was an extremely wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!
