In gerneral:Thatcham Town v Bemerton Heath 1-1, FA Cup 1st Qualifier round 1996.
First league: Reading v Colchester United 1-1, Nationwide Division 2 1998.
Reading v Wigan 2-1, div 2 playoff semi 2nd leg 2001.
Reading v Mboro 3-2, prem 2006. first ever top flight game, such hype and excitement before hand, then to win after being 0-2 down!
Thatcham v someone in 1998, 0-3 down at half time, won 4-3.
too many to mention, bolton 3 reading 0 in 2007 stands out as being a crap day overall, crap traffic game and result.
each ground has features that are better worse than others, so...
atmosphere: portsmouth (no where comes close)
leg room: reading, swansea, doncaster
character (older): old trafford, hillsbrough, moleneux, ninian park
character (new build): Madejski, Ricoh
facilities (concourse size, seat comfort ect): swansea, emirates, mk dons
novelty value: luton (going through someones living room and back garden to get into away end)
as above...
atmosphere: emirates (just a big corporate day out.).
leg room: qpr,luton
charactor (lack of): emirates (just a big lego set with emirates stickers all over it), walkers+st marys (no features on either to look at)
facilities: qpr(crammed+tight),coventry (ricoh seats arent the best, dissapointing for new build stadium)
