Possibly a pre-season friendly between Oxford Utd and Reading when Jim Smith gave me a quid. Can't remember it though!
Last game of the seaon 98/99, had to beat Stockport by a considerable margin and hope other results went our way. We did our job with a 5-0 victory but were relegated due to those other results. Cracking game, atmosphere but an emotional day being relegated from what is now the Championship.
Beating the scum 1-0 at the Kassam in the 2nd round of the FA Cup in 2002/03 - purely because of the result and opponents.
Too too many to recall just one. Could be one of any from the last 10 years of OUFC history!
Well, actually I would have chosen the late Manor Ground (OUFC) but this application wouldn't let me choose it. Biased I know but so many good (and bad memories) there. It had the slope, London Road stand, the supporters club, good old fashion floodies, the Osler Road clock that didn't work, atmosphere..............
Biases aside, Anfield is a must for the history and the atmosphere. being in the Kop through "you'll never walk alone" gives you a tingly feeling!
Highbury was charming too, glad I got there before they moved.
Crumbling terraces, no refreshment facilities, poor toilets (still I guess there's always the Sea)! This was late 90's so may have improved since then.
The County Ground *spit* needs to carpet bombed just because!
