Always loved Grimsby away, not for the numerous dog-shit alleys leading up to the ground (disgusting chavs, how can they live like that.....) but for the low roof over the away fans which made the 2,000 or so allowed from Sheffield drown out the entire 3 sides of the home fans, fantastic volume....crank it up...........
Any ground where we take huge support and as good as take over the ground, if nothing else volume-wise.....fabulous....Boothferry Road, both Nottinghams, the smaller grounds.....
circa 1970, @ Bramall Lane, I was only 5 and shamefedly can't remember
Darlington (Feethams) in 1981 and Leicester (Filbert Street) in 1990 (both promotions) Leeds away (4-0) and any win versus Wednesday (too many to mention)
Wigan at home, Bristol City at home, Chelsea away (all relegations, Bristol in the old style play-offs)
Any loss to Wednesday (thankfully they're infrequent)
Surely for the size to be so near the pitch, old style, not as coprorate as the new MFI-style builds....
The Theatre Of Rust, I know I'm biased, but it's now 'massive' (see what I did there) ly in need of some DIY.....however, I have placed my beloved Grandad's RIP brick on the Chris Turner wall in the South Stand, so it's not 100% bad........
