I rememeber nothing about my first game watching Burnley, I was 4 months old
A toss up between 2 games for me this. First off 9th May 1987, Burnley vs Orient. A massive day in Burnleys history, lose this game and the once mighty Clarets would go out of the football league and out of existance probably forever. It didn't happen and was probably the most emotional football match I have ever attended. Secondly and rather a fitting contrast to the previous game was May 25th 2009. The Championship Play Off Final vs Sheff Utd. A chance to gain Premiership status, Burnley back in the big time, a thing my Dad had talked to me about for many years. Did I believe it could happen, yes I did, and yes it happened Burnley were back. The sheer joy and happiness on that day will be something that lives long in my soul forever.
As a Clarets fan there a far too many too mention
Hate to say its Blackburn, but for the atmosphere, you could not better it, there is not a Derby Game in the world that matches this
On a freezing cold night in winter there possibly cant be anywhere else in the world thats worse than this
