Oldham Athletic at Burnden Park back in October 1994 - a present for my 8th birthday
Man Utd 1-2 Bolton, October 2001 - the result says it all.
Bolton 1-4 Blackburn, February 2001. We could have gone 10 points clear of our local rivals in the race for promotion to the Premiership... we ended up in the playoffs.
If you ignore the 14 flights of stairs and birds-eye view it is quite simply (half) a magnificent ground. The "small" stands matches the large sides at many clubs, and the large stands are huge! It's usually packed and a good, yet friendly atmosphere.
It's no fault of Yeovil, they were a non-league side for a long time. But with it being a midweek cup tie we only took around 250... and still packed out one end of the ground. Other than that, Prenton Park of Tranmere Rovers.
