Welcome to my map
Here is where you find stadiums I have visited, on my wish list, photos I've uploaded and reviews I've written.
Join me as I follow the Seagulls
Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Watford
Championship 2013/14
My first game watching the Seagulls couldn't have started more dramatically. The key moment of the game was Watford had a goal disallowed even though TV images showed it crossed the line!
Brighton played it to their advantage and equalized in the second half but couldn't find the winner.
Millwall 2-2 Brighton & Hove Albion
(Brighton win 5-4 on Penalties)
FA Cup Quarter Finals 2018/19
Brighton booked their place at Wembley in the semi-finals of the FA Cup in the most dramatic circumstances possible.
Coming from 2-0 to draw 2-2, scores remained the same in extra time so it went to penalty shootouts. Brighton missed the first, however Millwall's luck finally ran out and had their penalty saved before missing the final.
The roller-coaster of emotions from despair to unbridled joy in the away stand is something I will never forget.
Brighton & Hove Albion 0-5 AFC Bournemouth
Premier League 2018/19
One week on from the grand day out at Wembley, Brighton fell back down to earth with an almighty crash!
Bournemouth ran riot in last 16 minutes and Brighton were down to 10 men resulting in a recipe for disaster. Brighton fans starting leaving after Bournemouth's third goal resulting in a half-empty stadium at the full-time whistle.
A big surprise for many considering I have visited the likes of Liverpool, Spurs and Wembley! The main reason I choose Burton is because there's a fun vibe about the place; fans are the friendliest you will see.
It's a great ground which punches above its weight and overall a great trip.
I generally found the stadium uninviting and was pretty poor to say the least. It just lacks character and I reckon it could be bigger and better generally, particularly the concourse as I felt like a cat in a cage.
