First Game

My uncle took me to Maine Road in May 1960 where Burnley beat Manchester City 2-1 to become English Champions. It was a re-arranged game which took place after every other game had been played and Burnley had not been top of the 1st Division (as it was then) at any other time of the season. I don't remember anything from the game!

Best Game

Choice of the Title winning game at man City 1960 or the 1-0 Play-off final win v Sheffield United @ Wembley 2009. In the fall from grace during the 1980s I believed I would get to see us in the top division ever again.

Worst Game

So many during the 1980s but early 200s, New Year's Day away at Portsmouth. Lost 0-2, the weather was freezing with lots of sleet and wind, open end, no hot drinks or food available. Nightmare journey home after!

Amazing experience.

Awful place to get to. Little or no parking nearby and public transport is terrible.
