There is a strong argument to suggest clubs in Germany, for example, offer a more affordable package for football supporters. From snapping up club merchandise to sampling some affordable stadium food, a modest budget can stretch far in competitions like the Bundesliga.
Sure, some clubs aren't cheap, but behemoths like Bayern Munich, that are the favourites to win the Bundesliga at odds of 1/40 when you bet on football, have been known to offer moderately priced tickets. These range between €45-€75, and when you consider that they are likely going to win the esteemed German competition, the cost to watch them on the pitch is reasonable.
For one of the most prestigious clubs around to offer a cheaper match day experience than some Premier League strugglers do is quite remarkable. As Champions League odds show, Die Roten are priced at 5/1 to win the competition this season. The fact that fans can watch world-class stars like Harry Kane for such a fair price is another reason why so many supporters are sampling football abroad.
Bayern aren't the only option either. With that in mind, below is a brief look at some of the best stadiums to watch football outside of the UK.
Another German giant UK supporters are keen to watch, fans everywhere want to sample the "Yellow Wall's" unique atmosphere in the largest standing terrace in European football. Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park is a popular choice, with its 80,645 capacity creating an awe-inspiring atmosphere. With bratwurst and beer to also try, Dortmund's home is well worth visiting.
Although watching Paris Saint-Germain in the flesh isn't the cheapest option, witnessing France's biggest team in action is a preference for many football fans. Ticket prices aren't cheap, though. In fact, when Newcastle fans travelled to Paris for their game against the French giants in 2023, the cheapest ticket on offer was around £108.
Still, as a team which boasts some exciting young talent, plus star performers like Ousmane Dembélé, seeing a PSG game is an opportunity many football fans struggle to turn down.
Offering a wonderful atmosphere, taking in an FC Copenhagen match is another enticing offer many football fans can't ignore. In 2023, the cheapest tickets were around £55 per match, although the club offers ticket packages that can make things even more reasonable.

Regardless of cost, you're likely to immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere with fireworks being let off and creative banners on show. As one of Danish football's most prestigious venues, Parken is a fantastic place to watch a fixture, be it in European competition or for a domestic clash.
A club many fans are aware of thanks to former players like Nemanja Vidic and Dejan Stankovic, Red Star are arguably Serbia's biggest team. Attending an encounter at their Stadion Rajko Mitic home is an option alongside walking through the famous North tunnel during a stadium tour.
With a fierce atmosphere on offer from a highly passionate fanbase, it's a great venue to watch a game of football. The fact it can also be experienced for as little as £25 makes it an even more viable option.
