1XBet's European preseason tour isn't over yet. After sealing a deal to become FC Barcelona's global betting partner earlier this month, the bookie agreed to a multi-year contract with Liverpool on July 10. This comes a few months after Bet victor's reign as Liverpool's global betting ambassador expired, opening room for a new partner.
"We are delighted to welcome 1XBET to Liverpool FC as our newest partner, Billy Hogan, the club's CFO, said. "I know that their games and special offers will appeal to our fans around the world and we look forward to seeing as we go into the new 2019-20 season."
1xBet shared their enthusiasm to begin their partnership through a statement also, promising Liverpool fans "exciting entertainment opportunities."
"We're very proud of the relationship we have with Liverpool Football Club, and we're keen to work closely with fans around the world to bring them exciting entertainment opportunities and unique offers in the upcoming season," the bookmaker announced.
Despite being founded in 2007, 1Xbet wasn't a popular bookmaker in the European market until recently. The company initially targeted Asian markets before it expanded to Africa and Latin America. Lately, the betting firm is keen on expanding to European countries, and its latest football partnerships are proof of this.
But before exploring some of the significant sponsorships 1XBet are involved in, let's take a look at what they offer. The company has a vital interest in football and offers hundreds of markets on the sport every day.
When the football season is in action, you can find all your favorite games on the 1XBet website. From the EPL to Serie, the Championship to Bundesliga, 1XBet brings you football markets wherever they happen.
The company isn't exclusive to football, though. It also supports Cricket, rugby, basketball, baseball, and hockey. In essence, 1XBet competes with Bet365, Betway, and other betting sites to bring you comprehensive markets in all major sports.
But because the betting industry is fiercely competitive, 1XBet realized it must do what its competitors do: sponsor sports organizations. The company's journey to partner with European football clubs began in Cardiff last August.
1XBet made their breakthrough into the English Premier League last August after agreeing to a multi-million partnership with Cardiff City. The deal would last two years and permit the bookmaker to advertise on Cardiff's LED stadium boards.
The news went unnoticed to most football fans despite's 1XBet's efforts to promotes its services with generous betting bonuses. You can find more details about the bookmaker's offers in this 1XBet bonus review. The free bets and are available to betting fans in most parts of the world.
1XBet agreed to become Tottenham's official betting partner in Africa mid-August last year. Like the pact with Cardiff, the betting brand would be allowed to place adverts on the Spur's LED advertising boards.
This deal proved to be a significant win for the bookmaker as it suddenly started to appear prominently on English media. When it later initiated a campaign to award jerseys to whoever predicted the first goalscorer in Tottenham's new stadium, 1XBet attracted the world's attention.
Although Tottenham didn't reveal how much it would be earning from the new partnership, news placed the agreement at more than £5 million per year. The Spurs prides in having more than 20 million registered fans in Africa, meaning 1XBet now has a vast market to target.
After adding Tottenham to its list of partners, 1XBet went all in on Italy's Serie A. While it wouldn't become a global betting partner, its logo would appear in all Serie A graphics. The agreement was sealed in November after buying the rights from Interregional Sports Group back in London.
1XBet would also become Serie A's betting partner in Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Serie A chose a different partner for Asian markets.
1xBet waited for the 2018-19 season to conclude before reigniting its hunt for new club partnerships. Last month, the bookmaker approached Barcelona to be the club's global betting partners. Luckily, Barcelona's agreement with Betfair ended in May, and the club was also searching for a betting partner.
1xBet confirmed a pact with Barcelona on July 3rd, becoming the club's official global partner in a five-year contract valued at about £8 million per year. In its usual style, 1XBet acquired the rights to place adverts on Barcelona's stadium LED panels and mats.
In addition to that, the bookmaker would get access to Barcelona's players whenever it needed to create advertising materials. 1XBet has already begun to create adverts with the help of Barcelona's players.
And since Barcelona has hundreds of millions of fans worldwide, this is the bookmaker's best partnership so far. The La Liga giants have more than 100 million fans in South America, an essential market for 1XBet. It has 200 of million fans in Africa and Asia and several hundred millions more in Europe and North America.
Not all Barcelona fans are sports punters, obviously, and not all betting fans will sign up for 1XBet's deals immediately. But having millions of football fans view its ads will help expand its market remarkably.
Apart from club sponsorships, 1XBet occasionally finance national team competitions. The betting site was this year's Africa Cup of Nations betting partner. Its logo and adverts dominated the tournament's advertising panels and online platforms.
The company has a strong foothold in Africa, which is why it's continually advertising in African football competitions. But as aforementioned, 1XBet is willing to expand to whichever country that welcomes its betting services.
1XBet has a new partnership with Liverpool. This comes barely two weeks after signing a similar contract with FC Barcelona. In both agreements, 1XBet becomes the clubs' global betting company and will be allowed to advertise at the clubs' premises.
In the EPL, 1XBet has similar partnerships with Tottenham FC and Cardiff City. The company has a wholesome deal with Serie and also sponsors continental championships like CAF. With all sponsorships, 1XBet aims to promote its betting services now that it faces stiff competitions from companies like Bet365 and Betway.
