Play up Sky Blues
At Highfield Road - Coventry vs Wimbledon on a boiling hot summer's day at the beginning of the 1991-92 season. Wimbledon won 1-0. Pretty forgettable game, but I was hooked!
Coventry 3-2 Man Utd on 28th December 1997. Noel Whelan with the first, before United went 2-1 in front. Darren Huckerby won a penalty in the 87th minute, which Dion Dublin scored. Then Huckerby scored "that goal" - the mazy run from the halfway line a minute from time. Amazing.
Forgotten most of the awful games, but I do remember a dire 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough back in the Premiership days. Eoin Jess made his debut. Nothing else happened.
White Hart Lane is a modernised "old ground", better than the new grounds. Atmosphere has always been pretty good and I just think that it's a neat looking stadium.
Bad stand for the away fans and bad memories on the pitch!
